I was co-founder and CTO for this home cleaning startup. We ran it for a year and a half and grew to over $30,000 monthly sales before shutting down in 2014.
Since I was the technical co-founder on our team of just two, it was important to learn and plan as much as possible before building and creating technical debt.
I designed all of our branding, marketing website, mobile and web products, emails, and advertisements. I also wrote code to support daily cleaner payments, scheduling and conflict management, check-in and job management, and hiring tools.
I designed our pitch deck and talked to over fifty investors during the summer and fall of 2013. The funny thing -- in retrospect -- about the "Old and New" slide is that all three startups on the right are now gone, while the stodgy old franchises on the left live on.
